In 2021 International Women’s Day asked us to #choosetochallenge.
Here in the outdoor industry there is a gender gap. For there to be more women working in the outdoors and as instructors and guides there needs to be more women climbing, mountaineering and hillwalking full stop. So, to play our own small role in forging a gender equal world, we are now running women’s only courses – run by female instructors – where women can develop their skills in a space oriented around their own experiences in the outdoors.
Currently we have women’s only dates for our Introduction to Navigation and Night Navigation courses. We’ll be releasing dates for our Rock Climbing and Hill Skills courses over the next few weeks.
