Camping Leader
The Camping Leader qualification complements both the Lowland Leader and Hill and Moorland Leader awards. It covers the skills needed by leaders to supervise camping from road accessible campsites. It is the perfect accompaniment for leaders supervising Duke of Edinburgh groups.
The one day Camping Leader scheme has replaced the two day Expedition Skills Module. The syllabus is similar, but the overnight camp has been removed.
Our courses are not only highly informative but also fun and run in a friendly manner. We take great pride in the very high percentage of people returning for other courses.
Camping Leader Course Format
There is a non mandatory e-learning package that explains the course and the assessment day in detail. A link will be sent to you when you register with Mountain Training.
